This domain hosts a private, secure Matrix homeserver powered by Synapse, with fully-integrated LiveKit for WebRTC group voice and video calls, and a TURN server for reliable peer-to-peer connection relaying. We value digital sovereignty and end-to-end encryption over surveillance capitalism.

How to connect:

  1. Download the Element client or launch the web app using the buttons below.
  2. On the login screen, instead of signing in to matrix.org, select Edit or Change Server.
  3. Enter our homeserver address: matrix.nireland.cc.
  4. Sign in using your username and password, or create an account if you have a registration token.

⚠️ Security & Account Access

  • Use a Password Manager to generate and store your password.
  • There are NO password resets. If you lose your password, your account is lost permanently.
  • Ensure you backup your Security/Recovery Keys safely. Without them, you will not be able to read past encrypted messages on a new device.
